This winter Field Notes edition has been dubbed the Clandestine Notebooks. Filled with mystery from the get go, the 3 ½” x 5 ½” cover is made from sustainable Mohawk Loop paper in an urban grey colourway with a black metallic print over the top. Inside you’ll find 48 pages worth of Finch opaque paper with a light grey dot-graph, perfect for deciphering codes or diagrams. Additionally the final page of each book features a short history on codes and ciphers alongside anecdotes and examples. As well as the on-the-go function of this book, there’s a secret game to play which relates to some of the small accessories that come with it.

Field Notes was founded in 2007, an American notebook brand that produces all of the daily must-haves for any creative; from memo books, pencil packs, note books, pen packs and journals. Their leading quality paper is all sustainably sourced and often recycled and produced in Portland, Oregon. This rendition is part of their quarterly release, which usually sees a production of more limited numbers with a key theme behind it.
